Update for Sunday

Closing Sunday also for trail repair and grooming.

By now you have read that the lifts are not turning today, but we will Rock this evening with the band, Meehan Road.
Unfortunately, after an assessment of damages caused by the high temperatures and rains on Friday Night, we realized that we took more of a hit than expected. We have no choice but to close Sunday also.
On the bright side, we have restored the much needed water in our ponds and have  low temperatures with a north wind perfect for making snow, and that we shall do.
The fans are moving up the hill and being strategically placed with the expectation of a successful re-opening on Martin Luther King Day.
We apologize for Mother Nature's decision to close us down this weekend, but we are dedicated to giving you, our valued customers, the best outdoor experience possible.

We are up and running again! All lesson programs will proceed as scheduled this week.  Tuesday night we are trying something new in the Thirst Aid Room...Bar Room Bingo.  This is an event for entertainment only, no charge and fun prizes for the winners.

This is the sight to behold on Willard Mountain Sunday  (photo courtesy of John McIntyre, publisher of Spot 518) Unfortunately no skiers or riders are seen, but major repair work has been underway by our snow farmers for a 9-5 re-opening on Martin Luther King Day.  We will open with 10 trails (including two learning centers), as well as have up to 4 lifts spinning.  Our newly made snow and grooming should please our anxious skiers and riders as they glide down our, once again, white trails.  Lessons will be offered.
We also wish to welcome young racers from neighboring Vermont as we host the VARA U-14 race.
Snow making in our tubing park is also underway as we prepare for its opening on Saturday.

Hi Folks!  Since our last update the weather played a few more wild cards on us.  Our groomers will need today to reestablish integrity to our trails, therefore we will be closed for skiing, snowboarding today.
We will open our Thirst Aid Room today at 4pm, where Chef Rob will be serving from his entertainment night menu.  There will be music by local favorites Meehan Road in our lodge from 6-9pm.

Thank you all for your understanding and words of support through this tricky winter!
