WILLARD MOUNTAIN  RACE TEAM

Willard Mountain Race Team
The Willard Mountain Race team has produced very successful skiers over its long racing history, competing in the Southern Vermont Council of Vara against Bromley, Magic Mountain, Mount Snow and Stratton Mountain. Willard Racers are always among the top ranked Section 2 skiers when competing for their High School teams, and many qualify to compete in the in the New York State and Eastern United States Championships.
US Ski Team member and head Coach Jerry McNealus was awarded the Golden Ski Award in 1973 by the Eastern Ski Writers Assoc. This is an honor shared by other skiing greats such as Mikaela Shiffrin and Keifer Christianson in more recent years. Jerry and his assistant coaches dedicate themselves to bringing youth, with a passion for alpine racing, to their fullest racing potential.
