COVID 19
Welcome to the 2022-2023 "Winter Fun" Season at Willard Mountain. Congratulations to all who contributed to another safe and healthy season last year!

We are operating "business as usual" for this upcoming season. Masks are optional both indoors and outdoors.  We have cleaning and equipment sanitizing practices in place to keep our customers and staff healthy.

Kelly Pawlak, President and CEO of the National Ski Areas Association, put it best. “Ski areas provide acres upon acres of wide-open natural space for recreation, allowing guests to enjoy the mental and physical health benefits of outdoor recreation while maintaining physical distance.”

We are committed to communicating our plans and requirements that will keep our Willard family safe. Always check our website for updates as they present themselves.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to call Keith Mann, Operations Manager 518-692-7337. Wishing everyone a safe and healthy winter season!

Uphill Skiing Policy
Uphill travel by means of skiing or snowshoeing has gained popularity at some resorts in recent years. Willard Mountain welcomes and supports our guests seeking to enjoy the mountain, however uphill traffic by means of skis, snowshoes, foot or any other means is expressly prohibited during hours of operation. Because lift tickets are not available during non-operational hours, only those with season passes are permitted to engage in uphill traffic and may only do so when the mountain is not open for operations.   For the safety of everyone on the mountain, we ask that everyone follow our guidelines. All travel is done at each individual’s own risk.

During the early season uphill access is not permitted due to snowmaking and grooming operations. Please contact Guest Services to confirm uphill access is allowed.
• Closed trails are prohibited at all times.
• Usage of the terrain parks and BigAirBag are prohibited
• Dogs and other pets are not permitted on the mountain at any time
• Sledding is not permitted on the mountain at any time
• Camping is not permitted on the mountain at any time
Any person using any of the facilities of the ski area is considered a skier and as such is required to adhere to and obey all posted information and to be aware of trail closures and other operational considerations. Be especially aware of other skiers and riders. Snowmobiles, snow cats, snowmaking hoses and guns may be encountered at any times and the skier assumes all risks
