Your Loose Moose Retail Shop team is excited to announce that we now have an inventory of skis, to the likes of which have not been seen since 2019. We all know that that the supply chain has been challenged in the past few years, limiting inventory and leaving vacancies on our display rack, but things are turning around rapidly! Elan, Volkl, Dalbello, Marker and Leki, have avalanched through the doors of our ski shop this week. We just learned that most of our Rossignol inventory has just left the warehouse in Utah, which should fall upon Willard within the next two weeks. So...What does all this mean to you? First ...We now have new seasonal rental equipment available for both kids and adults, while still having a remaining selection of gently used seasonal rentals at even more affordable prices. Second ...We are offering skis for every skill level from beginner to advanced at Willard Mountain prices that leave cash in your pocket to do what you truly want to do...SKI! Third ...Our sales staff is not paid on commission. You will not be sold equipment that exceeds your needs, ability, and budget. And last ... Walking into our shop will bring out the "Kid on Christmas Morning" in you, with new graphics and designs to make you jump for joy at the thought of hitting the trails. Keep in mind that our Willard Mountain Race Team's Used Equipment Sale is being held November 5th,6th, and 12th from 10-4 and concludes on November 13th at 1 pm! Our Loose Moose Retail Shop is now open from 10-4 on weekends or by appointment.

Important message regarding 2022-2023 Season Passes! The management team at Willard Mountain wishes to thank all who purchased 2022-2023 Season Passes in advance! It is no secret that there are resorts that do not limit season pass sales, but rather encourage and promote as many season pass sales as possible. The result: Excessive lift lines. At Willard Mountain, we feel a responsibility to our guests to keep lift line waiting time reasonable, even if it means limiting the sale of passes. With that said, we are sorry, but due to the overwhelming response, Season Pass sales at the “Early Bird” rate are sold out for the 2022-2023 season. 2022-2023 Seasons passes will, once again, be available May 10th, 2022, but at the “ Before October 17 ” rates as listed on the 2022-2023 season pass form. Please note: There are a limited number of Season Passes available, and the sale of 2022-2023 maybe be suspended at any given time, without notice.

There are not enough words to express how fortunate we are to have a staff that we call family at Willard Mountain. On March 19th, we had a gathering to show our appreciation for all. Thank you to all who attended and to those who had prior commitments. At Willard, we are so fortunate to have Employees and Volunteer Ski Patrollers (some for over 50 years), who have dedicated their time, expertise, and personalities to making Willard what it is today!

With forecast of warm temperatures throughout the week, Tuesday Night will likely be the last night for Night Skiing...Let’s knock it out of the park! Specials: $25 4-9 pm lift tickets $10 “Everything Must Go” Dinner Specials served in the Thirst Aid Room All 2021-2022 School Passes, & Willard Program Passes will passes will be honored. Update, Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 10:00 am We have made the decision to close for the day to allow the cold north winds time to dry the trails from the rains Mother Nature offered since Sunday Night. The trails have held up remarkably well, and will be ready to groom Wednesday morning for a 4 pm opening. We know that our Tuesday-Nighters are saying "Hey, we want our Tuesday Night Specials this week!" Well, not to worry Tuesday-Nighters! We will be offering the Tuesday Night Specials, that you have come to love, on Wednesday, March 9th! That's right....a 4-9 lift ticket JUST $25 and a dinner special served in the Thirst Aid Room JUST $10. Let's make this Wednesday an honorary Tuesday, with all the excitement Tuesday nights bring!

Update 6:30 AM: It is Sunday, March 6th, and our lifts will turn from 9 am to 5 pm for skiing and snowboarding. OUR SNOWTUBING PARK WILL BE CLOSED ON THE DAY OF SUNDAY 3/6 DUE TO HIGH TEMPS THAT WILL HINDER THE SPEED OF TUBES. Those who have pre-purchased tubing tickets for Sunday will be refunded. 2022-2023 Season Passes are on sale now at Early Bird Rates! Buy now as quantities will be limited and may be sold out without notice.

Being that the temperatures on Sunday will be unseasonably warm, we are closing the tubing park for the day due to the fact that if the tubes go any slower, they will be moving backwards. Seriously though, those who have pre-purchased tubing tickets for Sunday will be refunded. We apologize for any inconvenience the weather has caused.
